Capcom just announced that Street Fighter’s most infamous fighter, Akuma, will be joining the roster of SF6 on May 22nd. If you own the Dexuxe, Ultimate Edition or Season Pass, you'll get early access to rage with him right away. I'm ready to see some people get completely obliterated with the Raging Demon!
The reveal trailer shows Akuma looking older and wiser than before, but still packing all his insane moves. He's busting out the air fireballs, dive kicks, and teleport hacks just like always. But you know the moment we've all been waiting for... Ryu gets on the receiving end of the Raging Demon itself! You can just see the pain as he dies 1000 deaths in a single attack.
Street Fighter just wouldn't be the same without the unstoppable force of nature that is Akuma. Get your fight sticks ready - the destruction begins soon! This demon is about to unleash hellfire on the entire SF6 roster. I can't wait to see the carnage!
Get Ready to Rage! Street Fighter Akuma's New Stage and Gear Revealed
Capcom just leaked some sick new stuff coming with Akuma to SF6 on May 22nd. All the first season fighters like Rashid and Ed will score new cooler outfits. Akuma himself gets some fierce drip too - we see his classic Turbo look as a throwback outfit.
There's also a gnarly new stage - Enma's Hollow, where Akuma goes to push his demonic training to the limit. Year 1 Pass owners can throw down there on launch day. And tweaks are coming to balance out all the fighters.
Can't forget Akuma is playable across World Tour story mode, online Ranked sets in Battle Hub, and local Fighting Ground matches. Absorb his madness in every game type.

Can you believe Street Fighter 6 has been out for almost a year already?! Time sure does fly. We've gotten some awesome DLC fighters so far like Rashid and Ed but the rooster is now complete with the arrival of the fearsome Akuma.
Since launching in 2023, SF6 has sold over 3 million copies and gotten rave reviews from players and critics. IGN gave it a perfect 9/10 score! They praised the huge roster of 18 characters at launch, revamped mechanics, and attention to detail that make it such an incredible fighting game experience.
